2. PERSONAL DATA
Hotel Blooker processes various types of personal data for different purposes. Below is a list of the personal data we process.
2.1 Booking and Stay Information
When you make a booking for an overnight stay, you enter into an agreement with Hotel Blooker. For this, we need to record personal data such as your first and last name, gender, whether you are 18 years or older, address, place of residence, phone number, email address, payment details, and date of arrival and departure. We may also receive this data from third parties through whom you completed the booking process, such as Booking.com. In some cases, additional personal data may be processed, such as dietary preferences or other requests and preferences. All this data is used internally only and is not shared with organizations for commercial purposes. It is also agreed that Hotel Blooker may use your email address to send our own newsletter to you. If you do not wish to receive it, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletter, ensuring you no longer receive newsletters from Hotel Blooker.
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary, unless there is a legal obligation for us to keep it longer. Our basic principle is to retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide you with our products and/or services. After that, we will delete your personal data to the extent possible.
2.2 Surveillance Cameras
There is CCTV surveillance on the premises and in the breakfast room of Hotel Blooker, active day and night. This is indicated with stickers, including at our entrance. These cameras are intended to protect our guests and secure our property. These camera images provide insight into the activities of individuals. These images are privacy-sensitive, and we try to protect them as much as possible. CCTV images are only viewed and may be provided to third parties (e.g. police) if there is a compelling reason, such as burglary, theft, or other criminal offenses.
2.3 Job Application Process
If you want to apply for a position within Hotel Blooker, you must submit a complete Curriculum Vitae with a cover letter by email or post. This includes various personal data, such as your first and last name, gender, age, address, place of residence, phone number, email address, education level, and work experience. This personal data is used internally only by an assigned staff member and is not shared with third parties. This data is kept for a maximum of 4 weeks unless the applicant grants permission, in which case the retention period is extended to a maximum of one year.
3. SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
Unless otherwise stated in this privacy statement, we do not describe, sell, or trade personal information about our visitors and users with third parties.
3.1 Sharing with Processors
Hotel Blooker may engage third parties to assist us in providing the Service. These third parties, in the context of their role in providing the Service, may process your personal data. In this respect, such a third party is referred to as a ‘Processor.’ We enter into processor agreements with these Processors.
We use the following types of Processors:
Developers and software suppliers; Storage of (personal) data and database management and maintenance; Research agencies and analytical software to improve our services (including privacy-friendly configured Google Analytics, which does not share personal data with Google); Hosting provider(s); Providers of relationship management software.
In some cases, the Processor may collect your personal data on our behalf. We inform Processors that they may not use the personal data they obtain from us for any purpose other than providing the Service. Hotel Blooker is not responsible for any additional information you provide directly to Processors. We recommend that you thoroughly inform yourself about the Processor and its company before providing personal data to such Processors.
3.2 Sharing with Your Consent
From time to time, we may also share personal data with third parties when you give us consent to do so. For example, we may work with other parties to offer specific services or offers directly to you. If you subscribe to these services from third parties or marketing offers, we may share the personal data you provide for that purpose, such as name or other contact information we reasonably deem necessary, with these third-party partners so that our business partner can provide the services or offers or contact you.
3.3 Our Legal Responsibility
We may share personal data if we are legally allowed to do so or if we are legally obligated to do so. We may also share personal data with third parties if reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with legal obligations, respond to legal requests from authorities, address any claims, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, our employees, or the public, and to protect ourselves or our users against fraudulent, abusive, inappropriate, or illegal use of the Service. We will immediately inform you of requests from an executive, administrative, or other government agency that we receive and that relate to your personal data unless prohibited by applicable law.
3.4 Merger or Sale (Part) of the Business
Personal data may also be disclosed, shared, and transferred as part of, or during negotiations for, a merger, sale of the company’s assets, financing, or acquisitions, or in any other situation where personal data may be transferred as part of our business.
